We were engaged as asset managers of the property. The new owners of the property, a US-based private equity company, had just taken possession of the property and post-COVID, it was in a bad state of neglect.

We worked to change out the leadership of the hotel and plan for renovations and the long-term future of the asset. A new restaurant concept was conceived in a formerly closed restaurant. A complete new kids club was conceived and constructed to allow the hotel to target the family market. Further Property Improvements were planned with the long-term objective of upgrading the hotel to a Grand Hyatt.

The hotel experienced a significant improvement in operating results in 2023, and exceeded budget by 45%.
