Duncan Kinnear joins Global Asset Solutions as Hotel Asset Manager, bringing over eight years of hospitality expertise spanning technical operations, asset management and investment advisory.

Over the last four years, Duncan has delivered comprehensive asset management services to private equity clients across the full investment cycle, as well as detailed commercial due diligence reports to institutional investors. He played a pivotal role in managing a 920-key value-add portfolio in Spain, overseeing CapEx deployment, operational repositioning, refinancing and exit processes through rigorous project management, financial modelling, budgeting and investor reporting.

Earlier, he spent four years (2016-2020) as Resort Maintenance Manager at a 2,500-key luxury complex in Riviera Maya, Mexico, leading technical operations and maintenance teams across five hotels, 40 F&B outlets, 10 leisure amenities and a PGA golf course.

Duncan holds an MEng in Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds, complemented by Cornell's Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management certificate.
